How To Load, Unload & Tie Down ANY Motorcycle in Pickup Truck Alone Harley Goldwing Yamaha Honda

Today I’m bringing you a video at the request of the viewers. I’ve had a handful of people asking about what kind of ramps I use and how I load, unload, and tie down my motorcycles. Here it is, but be warned! This is not the safest way to do it. A trailer is much easier and more user friendly. However, if this fits your needs, then hopefully the how-to helps. The truck is a 2006 Toyota Tundra Double Cab w/ 6.5′ bed. I’ve loaded well over 100 bikes into my pickup truck using these ramps. Everything from a Honda Grom to a Goldwing. Here’s a list of some of the bikes I’ve had on here:
Harley Davidson Road Glide, Ultra Classic, Dyna, Sportster, Nightster, Softail, etc.
Honda Goldwing, Fury, Stateline, Interstate, VTX 1800, Grom
Suzuki Boulevard c109rt, m109r, Hayabusa, GSXR
Triumph Bonneville

Unsafe. All three ramps should be strapped tight to the truck. Not just one casually lashed down. And wear a helmet. Something goes wrong and you fall sideways and conk your head on the road you will "work[ing] harder, not smarter." That is to say nothing about a heavy bike landing on you.
I was taught by some trophy truck dudes to give some slack before you ratchet so that you have a couple rolls of strap in the ratchet. Essentially, it doesn’t slip and you don’t have to check if it’s broken lose from the drive.

Video honestly seems legit, but not everybody has a ramp as big as a pro football feild.
Thanks for the strap tip! Mighta missed it but something I do is set my parking brake so the truck doesn't move around at all. Even in park in a automatic it still can roll back and forth a bit.
I love your videos. I need some help with transporting my bike. I will be moving from chicago to phoenix in the near future. I will be using a 26’ uhaul truck and i will be towing my car behind it. The floor in uhaul truck is aluminum and i cant screw anything in it. How can i secure my 2013 yamaha stryker once i get it loaded into the box truck? Any ideas?

for new riders just pull your choke a little bit and it will high idle and yoi do not have to worry about leaning out and stalling midway

To achieve the rated working weight of a ratchet strap you need at least three full wraps wound onto the ratchet rod.
"Work hard not smart"? Huh? You got it backwards, unless that was intentional.
