Sorry for misspelling “Safety” 🙂
Do you ride indoor all year or do you put the trainer away and get outside any chance you can?
Indoor sessions all year. I prefer training indoors and riding outside for fun.
Always do my intervals indoors! 😀 my endurance rides I do outside (if the weather is good enough).
Usually indoor ride is more harder as I feel. 🙂 Indoor is always easy to push myself to maximum while outdoor with friends is somewhat relaxed and social.
When I used my Vortex for 2 months and worked on my FTP, and then wen't outside on the hills it was totally destroying me. I find inside my cadence is lower because I can't get enough oxygen because of the heat my body creates, spinning outside seems much easier.
SAFTEY… sorry, I had to. That was hilarious. As of topic I agree with you completely. I find combining indoor and outdoor riding to be optimal for maintaining highest possible fitness. Too bad in summer it's sometimes almost impossible to ride indoors without AC which I don't have.
